Hugh Ledigo

 

Hugh started his own band in the late 1950s and continued to run it throughout the 1960s and 1970s

 

During his long career, Hugh played mostly in London's West End including the Café de Paris, Dorchester Hotel (deputy bandleader), Astor Club (staff arranger), Showboat Theatre Restaurant in the Strand (MD) plus a spell with the Pasadena Roof Orchestra.  

 

Hugh joined The Kenny Ball in 1987 - in his words - 'never to see the light of day again'!.
